As a Hungarian-born / American-trained designer, Reka loves to make brands come alive. She is most happy when she can cook up a logo, tweak your brand, or add to your collection of assorted graphics. Her passion permeates her every fiber. She loves books on design, designer blogs, swanky spaces, reading off beautiful menus, and living an aesthetically pleasing life. Her portfolio is a collection of old, new, fave, award winning, corporate, and personal work.
Paperreka is an online stationery store that ironically grew out of her need to create something with her hands and not sit in front of a computer. With Amelie, her iron beast helper of a 1906 C&P press, Reka creates cards and invitation sets for fun and for the daring. Click a tab over and purchase some of her goods. Cursive curse words for the win.
A letterform enthusiast, Reka has been in love with type even before she knew what proper terminology and history of letterforms were. Her lettering has been incorporated into logos, merchandise, and letterpress prints for sale.
A 200-hour certified Baptiste style RYT, Reka loves to practice and teach. Her most cherished yoga moments happened on her mat in heated power classes—so that's where you will find her in her element and where she feels she can connect with you the most. Find her at these studios:
A true passion project, the 12 musketeers are a rotating roster of 12 awesome designers trained in battle at saa who come together to defend the honor of letterpress every year with an illustrated calendar. Reka has spearheaded this effort for the past 4 years as a designer, art director, and letterpress printer of the project.
T-shirts and letterpress prints of the wood type origin are for sale to benefit the Daniel E. Johnson Memorial Scholarship fund at saa. Give a damn about the future generation of designers and printitforward.
